DE ANZA COLLEGE COMMUNITY EDUCATION
CHINESE FOR BEGINNERS II (Grades 6-10)
This class will strengthen the accuracy
of pronunciations and incorporate
more complex vocabulary and sentence structures. Students will learn how to use words with numbers, modify nouns, use intensifiers with adjectives, and navigate tenses in Chinese. Students will interact more skillfully in conversations about shopping, directions and schedules through individual presentations, small group exercises,
whole class interactions and listening comprehension practice. Methods of reading and writing characters will be introduced and developed as well. Chinese for Beginners Part I is not a requirement.

Instructor: Lucia Wu has taught Chinese in the Bay Area, from beginning to advanced adult classes, for more than 10 years.

Materials Fee: $20 (payable to instructor)

12 and 26, May 3, 10 and 17 (eight Thursdays; no class on April 19), 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This four-day course is offered by Economic Driving School.
