The class website will remain available after the course is over so that students can continue to experiment.
INTRODUCTION TO SCRATCH PROGRAMMING
(Grades 2-5)
Each section of this course walks students through programming a different game, while explaining programming concepts as they arise. Students will start by sketching out what the final game will look like, before planning and coding the main parts of the program.
This course provides a hands-on, problem- solving approach to learning programming
and related concepts in computer science.
With this approach, we hope to cultivate students’ imaginations and make the computer- programming experience accessible.
