Major: Cognitive Science

As President, Allissa is passionate about fostering an approachable and collaborative student government where students feel connected to the decisions that shape their college experience. She values curiosity, open-mindedness, and sincere intention to better understand and advocate for the De Anza community. Outside of DASG, Allissa loves puzzles of all kinds, from logic games to escape rooms, social sciences & research, fashion & design, and gaming. She also adores visiting museums, volunteering, and trying new brunch spots. Have an idea, a question, or a brunch spot recommendation? She’d love for you to stop and say hi!

Tran is a De Anza College student studying accounting. As a DASG student leader, Tran serves as the Chair of Administration and hopes to help students feel heard and make a positive impact on the De Anza community. Outside of school, Tran enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and making memories with the people around them. Tran hopes to do their best in college, leave a positive impact on others, and eventually transfer to a good four-year university.

Arin is a second-year student at De Anza College majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. He is originally from San Francisco, where it is always foggy, so he enjoys getting out in the sun whenever he can by playing basketball or hiking with friends and family. Arin loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures and perspectives, which he finds endlessly rewarding through his campus involvement.

Galilea is a second-year Business Administration major looking to transfer to a school in SoCal. Through her role, she hopes to learn more about the student body in order to represent them well, boost engagement, and get more people involved with DASG. She'd love to work with you all at Student Rights & Equity events like the Resource Fair, Town Hall, or casual committee meetings. In her free time, she enjoys going out to eat with friends, reading, and taking late-night drives (when gas prices are lower).

Jesslyn knows how easy it is to feel lost in college, especially when you are still trying to find where you belong. Through DASG, she hopes to make resources, information, and events feel more welcoming and easier to navigate. She wants to help students feel seen, connected, and a little more sure of where to go next.

Ridhi is a second year student, majoring in Biology and pursuing medicine. She is from Gurugram, India. She looks forward to meeting new people and hosting exciting events. Fun Fact: she's lived in 3 different states in the US.

Ashwika Agarwal is a second-year Economics student at De Anza College and serves as the Environmental Sustainability Chair for the De Anza Associated Student Government. Through her role, she hopes to make sustainability more practical on campus and support initiatives that students can genuinely benefit from. She is interested in economics, business, entrepreneurship, and learning about the world around her. Outside of student government, she enjoys finding cute cafés and new photo spots, walking by the beach, catching sunsets, and trying new things with friends and family.

Yumin is a second-year student majoring in Bioengineering who loves playing basketball, hiking, and going to the gym. As a student leader, she enjoys creating opportunities for students to connect and feel more involved in the De Anza community. Outside of school, she loves trying new foods, especially bingsu, and spending time with friends.

Leo is a second-year Business Administration student at De Anza. When he isn’t studying, you can find him on Discord, queuing up for Valorant. As an Event Coordinator, Leo aims to bring a stronger sense of community to campus with events that leave students hyped and connected.

Arnav is a sophomore at De Anza College studying Data Science and is the Events Coordinator for DASG. Being someone who had come from India to the US for his schooling, he understands the importance of connections and being made to feel comfortable in a new environment. With student government, he aims to make students feel valued, listened to and motivated to participate in college activities. Outside of school he enjoys his other passions which include sports, technology and entrepreneurship.

Jasmine is a second-year student majoring in Food Science. She looks forward to bringing the community together and making this year a fun and welcoming experience for everyone. Outside of school, she enjoys doing art and trying new foods.

Kaitlynn is a second-year student majoring in Chemical Engineering. She is from Jakarta, Indonesia. Through DASG, she hopes to help create meaningful opportunities where all De Anza students can build strong connections and make the most of their community college experience. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and exploring new foods and boba tea shops.
