Elementary French (First Quarter)

Course Description

This course is an introduction to the language and cultures of the French-speaking countries. French's basic speaking, listening, reading, and writing will be introduced and practiced within a cultural framework. The emphasis will be put on the language as an expression of culture.

Class Dates: This class runs from 2025-04-07 to 2025-06-27.

FREN-001.-01Z: This is an online class with SOME scheduled meetings as noted in the class listing. The rest of the class can be completed independently each week on the student's own time. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system.
