CNC Programming and Operation; Intermediate Mill


Course Description

This Intermediate CNC Mill course focuses on tool path programming using word address format, coordinate systems, cutter compensation using multiple D values and advanced canned cycles. Intermediate mill programming will utilize subprograms, multiple work coordinate systems and probe macros, as well as program entry, editing, simulation and advanced machine controller functions. Indexable tool insert selection, thread milling and Unified National thread form classes and measurement will also be included in this course.
