Community Relations
Course Description
This course is an examination of the complex, dynamic relationship between the diverse communities of society and the justice system. The course addresses crime causation and social conflict with an emphasis on the challenges and prospects of administrating justice within a multicultural population. The content includes human aspects of being a criminal justice professional, crime causation and prevention, restorative justice, conflict resolution, and professional police ethics.
