KNES Dawnis Guevara KNES 47-50Z 37616 Recognize career opportunities for women in sport and the impact that sport participation can have on society. 2025-2026 Winter Online - Asynchronous Project Students submitted a final research project outlining various career opportunities for women in sports and the impact sports participation can have on a society. 39 0 1 6 0 The percentage of students exceeding expectations was 87%. These students gained valuable knowledge throughout the quarter regarding career opportunities for women, and the impact that sports have on a society. I will continue to use ongoing assessments throughout the quarter to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Creating a supportive and conducive learning environment that promotes engagement, collaboration, and respect, is something that I will continue to do with my online platform.
KNES Jason Damjanovic KNES D25BX 47275 Demonstrate improvement of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility through Stretching.

Apply knowledge of basic fitness concepts as they apply to health and wellness. 2025-2026 Spring Online - Asynchronous Exam – Course Test/Quiz Students have been introduced to and have performed a variety of stretching techniques through assessments (pre- and post-tests) and exams. They demonstrate an understanding of the overall health and wellness benefits that flexibility provides and recognize how maintaining flexibility can contribute to improved quality of life throughout their lives. 19 19 19 2 6 Based on the results, I strongly believe that my students have gained a greater understanding of the benefits of flexibility, with 19 of the 21 students demonstrating successful outcomes To enhance these results in future teaching, I plan to incorporate additional hands-on flexibility activities, provide more frequent opportunities for students to assess their own progress, and make stronger connections between flexibility training and real-life health benefits. I will also offer more individualized feedback and utilize a variety of teaching methods, such as demonstrations, peer instruction, and reflective assignments, to accommodate different learning styles. These strategies should help increase student engagement, reinforce key concepts, and improve overall achievement of the learning outcomes.
KNES Pete Rabbitt KNES D012E.02 48833 Apply knowledge of basic fitness concepts as they apply to health and fitness.

Demonstrate fundamental karate techniques at the appropriate skill level.
2025-2026 Spring Face-to-Face Exam – Course Test/Quiz Students completed both a written exam and a physical demonstration/skills test. 9 0 1 0 1 The biggest challenge came from those who, despite repeated reminders, did not turn in their final exam and/or class journal. Rather than waiting until the end of the quarter to collect journals, I will now require a midterm journal submission. This will allow me to focus on those students who are not meeting the class expectation.

PE Dawnis Guevara PE 37X-01 49202 Apply knowledge of basic fitness concepts as they apply to health and wellness 2025-2026 Spring Face-to-Face Exit Interview At the end of the class I meet with each student individually to exchange feedback and assess knowledge moving forward. 14 0 0 0 In our exit interviews I ask these questions: How many sets and repetitions do you need for a complete strength and endurance routine (specific to beach volleyball)? How does flexibility, mobility, and aerobic fitness impact your performance? What are your current fitness goals for the summer? All of my students had a clear understanding of the amount of sets and repetitions needed to increase strength and endurance. Some of them were a bit confused on the percentages to lift relative to their strength. I plan on explaining this in more depth moving forward. Making sure each student knows their maximum effort for specific exercises. Every student was well aware of how flexibility, mobility, and aerobic fitness plays an important role in their ability to perform at a high level. Four of them mentioned their injuries, and how that affected their fitness levels. Making sure every student knows the importance of our athletic training room and using it to keep your bodies in shape will continue to be a priority.
