Recognize Individual Equity Work

Equity Plan Re-Imagined: Develop a strategy to recognize and celebrate individual equity and racial equity work, through such methods as:

  • Spotlighting programs and instructors with proven commitment to closing equity gaps (including access, retention, persistence and success) for racially minoritized students.

Action Plan: Work with the Office of Professional Development to create a nomination process to identify faculty members and classified professionals with equity practices to spotlight, include the findings in the Quick Notes equity section. Acknowledge equity warriors on campus through the Equity Champion Awards.
