Connect With Others to Improve Your Skills!

Our academic skills workshops (offered via Zoom and on campus) are a great way to connect with other students and share strategies for success. We also have a variety of online resources and videos to help you improve your skills.

Skills Workshops--now on Zoom and on campus!

Just click the link below to join a workshop – no need to register in advance. Follow the prompts on your screen to sign in and select from a list of available workshops. Here are some more tips:

  • Plan to join the Zoom session a few minutes early in case of sign-in difficulty. You will use your CWID (student ID number) and birthdate to sign in.
  • Join audio and make sure to have a working microphone and speaker to interact with the presenter and other students. Turning on video is appreciated too!
  • If no one admits you to the Zoom session, check the schedule again. The Zoom room is only open when there's a workshop is in session.
  • If you get stuck during sign-in, there is a "Problems Signing In?" link that will take you directly to the Zoom session; the host will help  you complete the sign-in after the session.
  • Need verification of attendance? We will provide a virtual verification screenshot at end of each session.
