Welcome Day is a fun opportunity to speak with instructors, meet fellow students and get answers to your questions about financial aid, registration, student services and more.
You can also:
- Take a campus tour and locate your classrooms
- Get your student ID and VTA SmartPass (by appointment only — see below)
- Find out more about your Village — see below
- Learn about academic majors, student clubs, athletics and housing
- Enjoy lunch while participating in activities in the Village Centers
- Attend informational sessions for both students and parents and families

Welcome Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in De Anza's Main Quad and other locations around campus.
Free parking is available in the Flint Garage.

Discover Your Village!
Welcome Day is a perfect opportunity to learn more about your Village. Each of the six Villages at De Anza is a community of students, faculty and staff members who share a common interest in related majors or academic subjects.
- In the coming year, your Village will host events and fun activities keyed to your major and related subjects
- Your Village is also a central place to find relevant information and services — including degree and transfer maps, which can help you save time and make steady progress toward your goals

Welcome Day is a college event with assigned areas for specific programs. External groups must use the space designated for them.
